Author responsibilities
Authors in the Journals must fulfill the criteria informed by the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) definition of authorship and responsibilities.
The corresponding (submitting) author is solely responsible for communicating with the journal. Before the actual submission, the corresponding author ensures that all authors are included in the author list, and that all authors are aware that the paper was submitted to the respective journal.
Upon acceptance, the proof is sent to the corresponding author. The journal will not necessarily correct errors after publication so the corresponding author is responsible for the accuracy of the proof.
The acknowledgement should also contain organizations that have provided support in terms of funding and/or other services. It is important to identify individuals who participated in the creation of a manuscript but do not qualify as an author at the acknowledgement.
Authors should disclose all financial/relevant interest that may have influenced the development of the manuscript.
Submission policies
Any manuscript submitted to the journal must be original and should not be in consideration for publication in other journal. We mandate that writers be clear in any situation where there is the potential for overlap or duplication.
A final version of the manuscript should be accepted by all the authors prior to submission. Therefore, if a manuscript is submitted, it is presumed that all authors have read and accepted the manuscript submission.
A final version of the manuscript should be accepted by all the authors prior to submission. Therefore, if a manuscript is submitted, it is presumed that all authors have read and accepted the manuscript submission.
Contact information of all authors should be mentioned in the submission i.e. full names, affiliation, emails, and phone/fax numbers.
Ethics and consent
Study involving human subjects, human materials or human data must be conducted in compliance with the Helsinki Declaration and accepted by the appropriate Ethics Committee. A statement mentioning this, including the name of the ethics committee and the reference number must be mentioned in the manuscript at appropriate locations.
Informed consent to participate in the study should be obtained from participants (or a legal guardian if applicable) for all work involving human participants and a declaration should appear in the manuscript to this effect.
Work involving in any vertebrates or regulated invertebrates must comply with institutional, national, or international guidelines, and where available should have been approved by an appropriate ethics committee. Respective details of the approval should me mentioned in the article.
Manuscripts reporting results of a clinical trial must conform to CONSORT 2010 guidelines. Authors of randomized controlled trials should submit a completed CONSORT checklist, available at www.consort-statement.org.
Peer review policy
All articles published in the journals undergo thorough peer review. All submissions to the journals are assessed by an Editor, who will decide whether they are suitable for peer review.
Submissions deemed to be acceptable for consideration will be selected by the Handling Editor for peer review and will be sent to suitable independent experts for peer-review. Based on the reports of the reviewers, editors will make a decision and authors are sent these reports along with the editorial decision on their manuscript. The journal follows single blind review process where the reviewers will be masked for the authors completely.
