Scope, Aims & Topics

21st Century Cardiology is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal, that publishes top notch papers, unique examination, and contextual investigations identified with all parts of cardiology. The focus of 21st Century Cardiology is on key sectors of medicine and fields that include medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology that rely on human progress and survival, with the goal of improving global R&D cooperation. 21st Century Cardiology points at fast distribution of high-quality works, whereas maintaining the process of peer-review. All acknowledged papers will be shown online immediately. 21st Century Cardiology empowers manuscript submission related to (but not restricted to) all the areas of Cardiology.

By publishing rigorously peer-reviewed scholarly communications, 21st Century Cardiology will establish itself as a world-class scientific journal and an invaluable resource for researchers, pathologists, immunologists, virologists, and healthcare professionals working in various areas of Cardiology research.

Authors are invited to submit writings that address the following topics or other topics of interest to the Cardiology community.

About The Journal of 21st Century Cardiology

Journal of 21st Century Cardiology (J21CC) points at fast distribution of high quality works, whereas maintaining the process of peer-review. All acknowledged papers will be shown online immediately. Journal of 21st Century Cardiology empowers manuscript submission related to (but not restricted to) all the areas of Cardiology.

The primary aim of 21st Century Cardiology is to provide scholars and readers from various fields of Cardiology with a platform to publish high-quality basic and clinical research articles and communicate their research findings online.

  • Authors must prepare their articles according to the appropriate international publication recommendations, including the STROBE Statement, CONSORT 2010 Statement, PRISMA 2009 Checklist, and CARE Checklist–2016.
  • Articles published in 21st Century Cardiology must undergo rigorous cross-international peer review. In order to ensure fairness and credibility of the peer review, our peer reviewers come from various countries, selected independently through artificial intelligence techniques or our editorial office and not by the authors.
  • Designation of co-first authors and/or co-corresponding authors is not permitted.
  • We accept a manuscript for publication based on its novelty, innovativeness, data accuracy, image reliability, clear language expression, and ethical requirements.
  • Note that, within 7 days, peer reviewers are recommended to complete their peer review, including a thorough assessment of the scientific and linguistic content of the manuscript.
  • At last, the peer review report, author’s response to the peer review report, biostatistics review certificate, copyright license agreement, institutional ethics committee.
