Artificial Intelligence in Cardiovascular Diagnostics: Promise and Practicality

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming cardiovascular diagnostics by enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and predictive capabilities. Machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms are being applied to electrocardiography (ECG), echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and coronary CT angiography (CCTA) to detect diseases earlier and with greater precision. This review examines the current applications, challenges, and future directions of AI in cardiovascular diagnostics, emphasizing its clinical integration and limitations.
